4th Quarter 2015 "Wall of Fame" Champion
M42 by degrbi

Hi everyone,
Haven't been here in a while, but I wanted to share my latest image. It is a compilation of data from both my Canon T1i (RGB) and my ATIK 428EX (Hydrogen Alpha) of the Great Nebula in Orion (M42). The total iteration for this image is 5.9 hours over three separate nights. the RGB data was gathered at Cherry Springs State Park in Central Pennsylvania. The Narrowband data was gathered over Two separate nights, and is a mosaic of three different frames compiled and layered in Photoshop and then combined with the RGB data from my DSLR. The result was way beyond anything I had expected to achieve. Enjoy!
