Greg, is fixthephoto.com your website? Or do you have a connection with it?

Great work there Sean. I haven’t been able to get even 20 minutes of clarity to image.

I do t use Stellarium but I read that there is an Observability plug-in that needs to be checked to get transit times.

Re: when to do a meridian flip?

Well, since M101 transits about 2:20 a.m. it would be around that time. What you need to know is how far past the meridian your mount can track before colliding with your gear. Weather

I don’t know if it’s just NJ weather but so far since November my nights have either been raining, cloudy or snowing. When it’s clear it’s either sub-teens or the winds are blowing at 30mph+.
Anyone else?

Site

If you’re all wondering why the site is looking a bit different it’s becau Doug is working on it in the background.
Hopefully all the kinks of the past will be gone and the site will be back to its full potential soon.

Re: Global Moderators

Hi Craig, we are still here. I haven't posted up a January photo contest because it appeared that over the last couple of months there were maybe one or two participants. Possibly people were just too busy during the past season, or some don't care anymore. As for Doug's work, while I applaud him fo...
