Re: New equipment

Check the links above to see it. Cloudy Nights has the 11 page thread on it to see what others say. So far I like it but dont have it ironed out enough yet to replace SGPRO.

Re: January Astrophotography Contest

Wow four entries this month :jumphappy:

I cannot make a voting poll work for some reason. Hopefully Mike or Sean can get it going. Maybe run a couple weeks as traffic is light on site.

Re: January Astrophotography Contest

I took this on Jan 3rd. First subs with the New ES127CF FCD100. It is the only thing I have shot in a while. It is the Monkey Head Nebula, NGC 2174. It is an H II emission nebula located in the constellation Orion and is associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175. It is thought to be located abo...

The freeze corrupted some files in ascom which I got resolved but having trouble with autofocus. So I think this holiday we...

Hypertune

I have the Atlas mount in to get hypertuned. It has been out all summer (under a 365 cover) and last time I tried to balance the scope it was stiff as......well really stiff. I got lucky for once as the place is 3 miles from my house so I got to just drop it off and save a ton in shipping costs and ...
