i down loaded the Stellarium software and will pick a target closer to Polaris, I'm up there to the north, lol

I will definately set it in Mono raw, thanks for the tips....

Hi Craig, that's quite the "nebulous" question! :seeingStars: The answer to that is - it depends. By that I mean it depends on the target, light pollution and equipment. Assuming that you have a decent tracking mount and able to guide I would say if shooting a star field you can go between 300-600 s...

Exposure timing

Hi all

With the Orion starshoot G3 color using the Orion ED80 Apo f/7.5
what exposure time in seconds do you recommend and how many shots ?
I will be using the Sirus mount and the Orion auto guider package
