Power Supply

I understand alot of equipment runs on 12vdc power. Ive been cleaning out our work shop and there are some small power supplies that convert 120 to 12/24vdc. they are 5amp and 6 amp supplies. i have had a hard time collimating it. my focuser, when i go up, my laser is perfectly center, but when i go down, my focuser tube moves and is about 3/4 inch out of center. it has never had very clear images of the planets. the moon is even touchy. it discouraged me years ago and i didnt do any vie...

awesome thankgs guys. I was also thinking an option for me was getting the Atlas mount even if i just put on my 8" newtonion for now and learn and buy stuff as i go along. maybe thats a start. my budget will be around $2500 to 3000.
