July 2017 Astrophotography Contest

Forum rules
Your Choice, OPEN TARGET! Limited to ONE Entry Per Month, choose wisely grasshopper! YOU must take the photo with YOUR own equipment (No Telescope Rentals).

Each month a winning photo will be voted by registered users.
The winner of each month will be displayed on the front page of myastroimages.com for one month.
Winner's photo will be automatically entered in the "Wall of Fame" Coffee Mug Contest. (See viewforum.php?f=16)

Images must not exceed 800 Pixels wide when posted in the forums. Links are allowed off site to larger images.

Contest Starts on the 1st of each month, and ends on the last day of the month.

here is my entry for the contest...

Iris Nebula_NGC7023...
C8_F6.3 Canon DSLR T3ia cooled to -20C . AVX GPCAM2 guider, Planewave finder 50mm.
100 X 300sec (500 minutes) ISO800, over 3 nights.
BYEOS/PHD2 /astrotortilla/ skymap/
stacked in Nebulosity 4 , processed in Photoshop CS4.

Starhunter..
My Gear: AVX mount, C8, DSI Pro II mono. color, AT72ED, 100-400mm F4.5 L series.

No, don't delete your image.

I used to allow previous winners to be in the polls, and give the runner up the prize. I think it's better to not include winners in the polls, just because if they are second it's not the same as winning.

I know it sucks to have to wait a year to reset, but, I think it's only fair so more people have a chance to win.
