Re: March 2018 Astrophotography contest

Here is my Narrowband Horsehead. It's one of only 3 images I shot with the Atik One before I sold it and bought the QSI 690. This is 21x1200 Ha, OIII, SII on my Williams Optics GT71 on Losmandy G11 mount. Thanks

Re: March 2018 Astrophotography contest

The Pencil Nebula (NGC 2736) is a small part of the Vela Supernova Remnant, located in the constellation Vela. It is about five light years long and 800 light years from Earth and represents only a small part of the Vela supernova remnant which exploded about 11,000 years ago. Initially, the shock wave was moving at millions of kilometers per hour but has slowed considerably to about 640,000 kilometers per hour.

Thanks Guys,

I'm out the loop for a while until my camera gets back from QSI. They are taking forever to fix it. It's killing me!!!
