M81 AT8RC LRGB

Post by Rudeviewer » Sun May 05, 2019 10:27 am

Hey everyone!!

Been a while since i have images due to......well being lazy, medical stuff, life.....

But i am back!!

This is M81 taken over 2 nights that were not very good seeing but i took what i could finally get. I may try to get some more L data and some Blue as i had to coax out the color to get it to where it was like you normally see it. Fun and a challenge to get back into processing and trying to remember what the heck i was even doing before to get some of the images i did.

L was 32x600s shots, and RGB was 12x300s for each color.

Very Nice!

I know what you mean, I tried to process an image this weekend, a futile attempt. It's been so long I forgot the steps to dance.

Good work Zach!

Good to be back. And will do, may have to reset my password as it's been a bit.

After processing LRGB i remember why I really liked narrowband lol.

I need to retake my flats as this was a good crop to get rid all the rubbish in my imaging train that my old flats didnt taken care of.

Welcome back Zach good to see your images again! I think I like it somewhere in between the two but do prefer the first images colors better.
I’ve been waiting for the weather to cooperate but so far it’s not happening.
Clear Skies!
