Frame and Mosaic editing

Post by h2opolo » Mon May 01, 2017 8:23 pm

Hey Man how do you edit a target once you have it completed in Frame and Mosaic. I downloaded a picture of the Leo Triplet into F&M and plate solved it. I then put my box around it and framed it and saved it as a target. When I opened the sequence up I had already slewed to it and was on top of it so I tried to run the sequence and it would not plate solve the image in step 3. So it made it through steps 1 and 2 but when it took a photo to validate it to, it failed - twice. I ended up having to manually frame it up and start a new sequence.

So basically I was unable to use plate solving for getting my scope on target. Could it be that my exposure time for the frame and focus is to quick and it cannot get enough information to plate solve on it? I don't know

Any ideas?

By the way I got pulse guiding working. I love not having that stupid st4 cable and not having to flip calibration data.
