Here's what I got from the calculator: (http://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/astro ... calculator" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
80MM with Focal Reducer and A8050
FOV: 2.70° x 2.03°
Area: 5.49 sq°
Focal length: 384mm
Focal ratio: f/4.8
EON120mm no Reducer and A8050
FOV: 1.15° x 0.87°
Area: 1.00 sq°
Focal length: 900mm
Focal ratio: f/7.5
This represents my WIDEST (2.7 Degrees) and NARROWEST FOV (0.87 Degree).
According to this http://www.lightvortexastronomy.com/tut ... lving.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For the Narrowest, I should take my smallest number, which is 0.87°
0.87 * 0.20 = 0.174The installation suggests we select about 20% of our narrowest field of view
Now I don't see any choice that low?!!? What should I use here? The lowest value I see is 2-2.8 Arcmin.
Does this mean 0.87 is really a degree?
OK, lets say that's true, it's a degree...
There are 60 Arcminutes in one degree...Right?
So that would be 52.2 Arcminutes,
20% of 52.2 Arcminutes would be 10.44 arcminutes...right?
Take a look at the photo below before I accept it.
