Hand Made Spacer

Okay so the RC8 Saga continues but may be at the end. I bought the ATIK One 9.0 with built in FW and OAG but ATIK was fussy about me using my Lodestar with the camera. They wanted me to use their little OAG camera that came with it and I hated it. In order for me to get the Lodestar in focus with the camera in focus as well I had to have a spacer made to install 7mm in between the OAG and the Camera body. Here is what I came up with. Looks Great and Works Like a Charm!!!

Re: Hand Made Spacer

Looks good glad you got it sorted out. As for me I'm still not sure if I'm going to use my Atik OAG on my RC8. I can't use it on my Tak, (not enough back focus) and switching from a guidescope to an OAG is a bit of a pain. I may just sell it once I find all the pieces.
Clear Skies!

I hear ya. It's a pain. I've been fighting this for so long and still cannot get it right. I'm not giving up. I'm gonna beat Chris at his RC images but I have have to get my RC working first. Ha ha
