Hello from South Carolina

Post by Cadby » Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:10 pm

Hello everyone! Well I finally bought a CCD camera and now I have to figure out how to use it! I've been dabbling in ap for a couple of years now with a modded Canon camera. Now that I've partially conquered that aspect of ap I think it's time for more challenges. Wish me luck!

Hey I'm glad you came by. Stick around and you will find a lot of help here. The filters will go out in the mail today. I think you know Rick (gardenfish) here as well. I found this site when I started shooting by watching the tutorial videos that Doug does on the subject. Pretty much anything you want to know is presented in the videos and I encourage you two watch as many as you can. He has them listed here in the boards but I find it easier to visit his YouTube site Astro Imaging Tutorials in order to pick and choose the one you might need at the moment.

Let us know how things are going.

Yeah Sean. Thanks to you and Rick i may end up pulling all my hair out! No, I'm very excited to learn about all the new gadgets i got (ccd cam, NB filters, and moto/auto focus). I think I've been downloading drivers for a week now! It is good to finally meet you Doug! You have been helping me out a lot in the last couple of years. You have some very entertaining and informative videos. Keep up the good work!
