Tracking opinions

Post by gardenfish » Sun Nov 06, 2016 8:36 am

I wanted to try 900s and 1200s exposures on the Atlas to see how I could do. I reset the tripod wth a good level and then just polar aligned with the built in polar scope, no Polemaster. I set the 127 on with the Atick and took some Ha exposures of M31. I took 2 15min(900s) and 1 20min(1200s). I stacked the 4 - 900's and some levels and curves in PS, same for the 1 - 1200s. I think it came out with pretty good shape on the stars. But I would love your opinions.

I also tried to get the ff/fr adjusted and think it is pretty good also.
