Hey Doug,

I dropped this on an earlier post but this is the appropriate place to throw it. Check it out I finished the power part of the equation. I bought the 30 amp power supply that feeds it. To much but it was the smallest they sold. Anyway this rig is done. Tomorrow promises to be good skies so I'll try it all out. I got some images of Sombrero and Lagoon last week but they are OSC and not worth showing so tomorrow I'll use this to go narrowband and see whats up.

Now that's a rig of an obsessed AP junkie. The cables all came together nicely what's the box under the imaging scope's dovetail? And is that about where you come to focus or do you just have it racked all the way out?

Looks very nice! Kind of reminds me of my old hot rod days when we would make our engines look all pretty.

6" f/5 Newt for peanuts

Post by PeterT » Mon May 29, 2017 1:02 pm

I got this GSO 6" f/5 Newt off of CN for $100 including shipping. It is absolutely like new. It shipped in original box and finderscope and other parts were
still in their plastic wrapping ! I already had the Twilight 1 mount, so I am good to go. First light tonight.

That looks great. Any chance you can drag an extension cord over to it?

That looks like a ASI 1600 on the back end.
