Looks in fair shape. Is that an achromat or an apo?

if that's a 150mm refractor, that's a monster! Looks like a good setup, but, I'll bet that scope is achromat. If used for imaging you'll see some color fringing, but, the price is right. What's got me is most of the EQ6 i've seen they are white, not black. I'd want to see a better photo of the mount's ports, just make sure it has an autoguider port.

$1600 CAD is $1181 USD. Certainly worth the price of the mount if the mount is good shape, take the other pieces as bonus material.

If it's an EQ6 with Autoguider port, then YES you can use EQMOD.

Good Luck!

Still not a bad deal if that EQ6 has an autoguider port and runs well. That mount alone is worth $1500 USD. Perhaps you can negotiate a better deal? Give it a try and offer him less. Can't hurt to ask.

It has an EQdirect cable attached to it. So it can be run from a PC via Eqmod.

I would for sure try to negotiate. Its an 11 year old mount with a achromat on it. I bet you can get a better price.
