Quattro 10s skywatcher weight

I heard some people say the 300mm skywatcher newton would be too pushing the limits of the EQ6 mount.

So i want to play it safe and get the quattro 10s from skywatcher, But someone else said that would be too heavy...
later on there will also be a guide camera and guide scope attached

Re: Quattro 10s skywatcher weight

I had the Orion version of the 10" and with a camera and everything else it was a little bit heavy for the the Atlas mount. I returned it the first week and got the 80mm triplet. Then the 127mm triplet and I am now officially a refractor person. Although for viewing I do have the 16" Dob.
