New equipment

Post by gardenfish » Sun Mar 03, 2019 7:57 am

I just updated my sig with my new equipment since last time we were here. I have not bought anything in a couple months since the ES127CF FCD100 and the new CEM60 EC version so I would like to say, unofficially of course, I am done buying and have my setup!!!!. I am still working on getting it all set up properly. I think its good just need more than one night a month of stars to verify.

I do have the new Voyager program and if it clears enough I plan on using it with the TOA150 to get it all set up and running. The auto focus is supposed to be one of the quickest and best out right now. video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGlV_sXo3i4 and a nice guide just written in english https://voyager.tourstar.net/index.php?title=Main_Page and a free trial download if interested http://software.starkeeper.it/ I am trying to learn the DragonScript ability it seems pretty cool. I downloaded the trial and 2 days later paid for the program. There is an 11 page thread on CN if you want to see what others are saying about it. Once I get it ironed out I could see it as my main Astro software.

What is Voyager program? I've wanted to get off of MDL software and start using another software, but, my damn Apogee camera is limiting to only MDL.

Check the links above to see it. Cloudy Nights has the 11 page thread on it to see what others say. So far I like it but dont have it ironed out enough yet to replace SGPRO.
