1st Milky Way Shot

Post by h2opolo » Fri Apr 05, 2019 8:23 pm

Finally got the chance to try capturing the Milkyway with my Nikon D750. I'm going to get proficient at this no matter how long it takes. Only had an hour until the sun came up but it was more of a test to see if I could do it more than anything else.

The Nikon 12-24mm lens has a lot of coma in it so I ordered the Tameron 15-30mm G2 lens to fix that.

Lightroom is new to me as well. I tried to use Pixinsight which is where I will ultimately land once I get enough images and learn.

Anyway here it is. Hope you like it.
