IC4606 Heart of Rho Ophiuchi Region
IC4606 also known as the Antares Nebula. Antares is south, and not in the photo. This region is a very colorful target, however, it's a HUGE target!

Taken with EON72, and SSPro.
14 ten minute frames. 20 flats, and 5 darks.
Stacked in DSS, Torn down into 3 files (RGB) in Nebulosity, reassembled in Photoshop with Fits Liberator. Lots of incremental curves.

The night was less than perfect. During the day lots of HIGH thin clouds, and sunset there was a haze/fog no clouds...was cold! Was 28 degrees, good enough to take the moisture out of the air and place frost on the ground. Taken at the Oak Grove Campsite 4/26/2009.
