M78 and Barnard's Loop.

This image was taken with Orion 80EDT CF Refractor, Parsec 8300M, and Orion LRGB filter set. Each Frame were 10 minute exposures. The combo stack was 20 L and 6 each of the RGB. For the first time I tried 2X2 binning for RGB frames. 2X2 binning worked very well for Color. The L was 1X1. This is only the second time I've used the Orion Triplet and it appears to be performing very well. The next time I will NOT use a Side By Side mount. I had to crop the right side a little because of flexure in the side by side setup. I was surprised how much faint nebula dust was picked up in this photo. The dark site I'm sure helped bring out the faint fuzzies too.
