M17, the Swan Nebula by degrbi.

This is an image of M17, the Swan Nebula. The image was taken at Cherry Springs State Park on Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1 2011. Skies were cloudless, transparency was average with a mean ambient temperature of 49 degrees F.

Camera: Baader Modified Canon T1i
5 min light subs at 800iso
180 minutes of data with added darks and flats
Telescope: Orion Premium 102mm refractor with AstroTech
Field Flattener.
Mount: Orion Sirius EQG, guided with a miniguider and QHY5 Camera
thru PHD.
Processing: Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Finished in PS2.
